Maria Hermeto is a teaching artist, whose research and work is based on the body: expressions, performativity and the relationship with the environment in which it is inserted. She sews her experiences in training activities and authorial research in visual arts and performing arts. She works as a performer and creator in contemporary dance, circus, performance, video art, independent publications and costume design. She has technical training in the Professional Dancer course at Escola Angel Vianna (2019) and at Intermediate in Circus Arts (AirCraft Circus School, London, 2016) where she started teaching classes as an assistant teacher in the Circus Youth, Circus Ninjas and Circus Tots program for children and teenagers in 2015 and 2016. He was a fellow in the Foundations Program (2012, Parque Lage Visual Arts School).
